GIMC’s four local projects were selected to improve community SW service

According to Yonhap News,


Gangwon Information and Multimedia Coporation, GIMC,’s four separate development projects were selected as part of national growth plans to improve community software service. GIMC will be given as much as KRW 2.5 billion in total (partly from national budget of KRW 1.25 billion and the rest coming from the municipal’s) until next year to push on the projects, mainly sponsored by the science and ICT ministry and National IT Industry Promotion Agency. As partners to work with GIMC, four local enterprises were also put their names on the list. GIMC said it’s a remarkable achievement the local community has made as two of them have nestled into Chuncheon among 13 other candidates nationwide to carry out the plan. Head of GIMC said “We’ll spare no effort to help capable local software developers, with excellent resources and innovative ideas, scale up.”
