According to Yonhap News,

Locally grown premium foods in Inje-gun, Gangwon Province are set to be shipped to reach out to US customers in the midst of corona-shock. Inje-gun announced on Apr.8 that 47 crops and agro products produced in six local businesses are decided to travel to the city of LA.

This is the second round of shipment to LA, following the first one on Feb. 26.
The trade volume is reported to be equivalent to the capacity of a container, filled with dried Pollack, mushrooms, a package of Kimchi, cereals, dietary supplements and crust of overcooked rice(Nurungji) and the amount is worth KRW 180 million.

This is good news to local farmers and agro-businesses especially at a time like this when the deadly virus battered economy nationwide.
