According to Yonhap News,
The Dream Program 2013 is scheduled to be held at Pyeongchang Alpensia Resort and on the ice in Gangneung from January 5 to 17.
A total of 157 athletes from 40 countries will participate in the program including 16 physically challenged athletes from four countries.
The Dream Program 2013 will operate systematic programs for athletes.
Master Class, in particular, will offer a one-to-one lesson where individuals are taught by Olympic medalists or members of the national team.
The Dream Program that began in 2004 has attracted 1,083 athletes from 50 countries for nine years.
Of them, 43 participated in Winter Olympics or World Championships as a member of the nation team.
Adding the number of athletes who participated in World Cups, the figure amounted to 112.
The participation indicates the program has contributed to spreading the popularity of winter sports.
Gangwon will expand the program further with the goal of increasing the number of participating countries to 100. It also plans to co-host the program in partnership with the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace.
