According to Yonhap News,

Gangwon Province signed an MOU with the city of Nanjing, Nanjing E- commerce association and other entities involved on May 29 to export cosmetics worth KRW 6 billion to China via a cross-border e-commerce platform, Kuajing.

The provincial authorities stressed the fact that the local government set out to facilitate non-contact online marketing channels for the first time ever in Korea, with the fast-changing, underlying consumption trends where non-face-to-face platforms are increasingly prevalent due to the worldwide coronavirus shock.

The MOU helps local cosmetics makers in Korea sell products worth KRW 6 billion to China in June.
They’ll also team up with Jia Yi Xuan from Jiangsu Province for mobile app development and management until August this year, through which local businesses in Gangwon province have exclusive access to online marketplace to in Tmall, the largest B2C e-commerce platform in China.

In addition, the municipal authorities will open and host O2O customer experience zone inside Nanjing Comprehensive Bonded Zone by the end of this October. Working with Wanghong, which translates to online celebrities who get their fans to purchase goods they’ve endorsed through social networking platforms in China, Gangwon province and Jia Yi Xuan will cohost a special sales event to let customers in China learn more of locally manufactured products and services such as cosmetics and medical devices.
