Chuncheon city announced today that it will hold a tourism information session tomorrow in Tsingtao city, China.
After the session, Chuncheon will hold marketing activities until Friday to attract group tourists.
About 100 travel agencies, media and tourism-related companies are expected attend the information session.
Representatives from Chuncheon will also discuss cooperation measures for tourism exchanges with Tsingtao and meet local media for Chuncheon promotion.
The information session is the second to be held in China following the first in Dailian city, Liaoning Province last year. Chuncheon successfully attracted 2,000 Chinese visitors from last year’s session.
A Chuncheon official noted that that city plans to continuously hold marketing activities targeting the Eastern Chinese coastal cities which have a high demand for car ferries between Korea and China.
