Samcheock City announced last week that it signed an exchange agreement with Korsakov City, Russia for to cooperate for pipeline natural gas (PNG) terminal and mutual development in the field of marine and fishing industries.

According to the agreement, Korsakov will cooperate with Samcheock to attract Russia’s PNG terminal and participate in the Samcheock’s international symposium on gas, energy and PNG.

Samcheock is endeavoring to attract Russia’s PNG terminal which transports natural gas through 1,122 km pipes across Russia and North Korea.

The two cities will also cooperate for mutual benefits through technology exchange and information sharing in the field of marine and fishing industries.
