Wonju Dispatches Trade Mission to Southeast Asia

Wonju City dispatches a trade mission to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Surabaya, Indonesia this week.

Supported by an industrial economic promotion institute in Gangwon Province and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, nine regional exporting companies participate in the trade mission.

The mission plans to conduct market research and hold export information session with about 90 foreign buyers in the cities. It aims hold sessions that amount for USD 900,000.

Southeast Asia with a population of 600 million is the second largest importer and largest foreign investment destination for Korea. It is expected to serve as an opportunity to develop exporting strategies and enhance overseas marketing capabilities of regional companies.
