According to Yonhap News,

Wood-cultivated ginseng flavored soybean milk, produced in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon Province, is now catching on in Singapore.

Pyeongchang-gun said the local community raised as much as USD 60,000 in exports, a 600 percent jump year-on-year, despite the lingering impact from the coronavirus shock. The ginseng soybean milk free from additives and natural soya milk, made from 100 percent top grade organic beans harvested in Korea, have been in high favor as a meal replacement among consumers in U.S. since last year.

A new product line exported to Singapore since last May, ginseng flavored soybean milk containing natural sweetener, has created a boom among local consumers.

Gaining momentum from market expansion both in the US and Singapore, the province is planning to find ways to form larger sales networks to sell more of locally produced fresh products.
