Gangwon Province is focusing on attracting tourists from Thailand, the largest market in Southeast Asia.

A Gangwon official visited Bangkok Monday to hold an information session on the province’s tourism industry with 40 travel agencies, media and officials from the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
