Wonju Unveils Plan to Foster Local Farming Leaders

(WONJU = Newsis) Wonju Agricultural Technology Center announced its plan to carry out a five-day “Wonju Core Farming Leaders Training Program” from March 3 to 7.

The program aims to foster local farming leaders who will be able to contribute to the development of the local farming industry in the era of trade liberalization.

Farmers group, executives of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, village foremen and leading farmers are eligible to participate in the program, and applications will be accepted at the division of agricultural resources of Wonju Agricultural Technology Center.

The program offers various courses including the understanding of the cooperative union, construction of an attractive farming village, changing trends of the farming industry, leadership and speech, methodology of persuasion and others.
