(CHUNCHEON=NEWSIS) Gangwon Province and Cheorwon County will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Infovion Inc. to develop high quality ITO films.

Infovion Inc. will invest KRW 24.7 billion in 7,660㎡ land of Dongsong agricultural industrial complex to produce ITO films with eco-friendly and state-of-the-art R2R production facility.

The sales of the film will begin after 2017 when the high quality ITO films are produced.

"We have decided to invest in Cheorwon because the County is closely located to the metropolitan area and mutual cooperative businesses can be conducted with plasma companies when the Cheorwon plasma industrial complex is constructed," said Infovion President Kim Young-Hwan.

"Gangwon Province will spare no effort in providing incentives to produce high quality ITO films," said Gangwon Governor Choi Moon-Soon.
