According to Yonhap News,

(WONJU=Yonhap News) Wonju City announced November 10 that the city will sign an investment memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, a spine specialized hospital.

Gangwon Governor Choi Moon-soon and Wonju Mayor Won Chang-Muk will participate in the MOU signing ceremony.

The Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, which comprises 28 hospitals at home and abroad and 3 medical related institutions, will establish Korea’s first complex experience center where oriental medical tourism and manufacturing are combined.

K-Medi Park, which will be built on 122,900 ㎡ of land in Wonju, will have oriental medical facilities including an oriental medical hospital, a museum, outdoor herb garden, children’s hands-on activity hall, oriental medicine book café and tourism experience center.

Wonju will sign an investment agreement with EunSung Global Corp., a medical equipment manufacturer, and Eans Korea Co., Ltd., a food machine manufacturer.

"The three companies will invest KRW 110.4 billion in the city and will create 620 new jobs. We will spare no effort in supporting the transferred companies in administrative and financial way so that they can become large-scale companies," said Won.
