(INJE=NEWSIS) Inje County will promote a new & renewable energy supply project to increase the image of the county as the nation’s cleanest city.

According to the county on February 8, it will promote a project to supply photovoltaic power so that each household can independently control the supply and demand of electricity through new & renewable energy.

The county will invest KRW 4.6 billion in 2015 in the establishment of a working design including an action plan for 305 households and 24 public buildings.

"We will strive to achieve 100 percent of electricity independence through new & renewable energy production and decrease in energy demand based on energy efficiency," said a county official.
