(SEOUL=NEWSIS) The construction of Lego Land in Chuncheon, which has been suspended as remains from the Bronze Age were found at the site, will now begin its construction again. The issues related to preserving the cultural assets have been resolved.

LL Development Co., Ltd., the project manager of Lego Land, announced that it will erect facilities on the site in the coming September.

Chuncheon City allocated KRW 2.5 billion as the supplementary budget for the construction of the Lego Land.

Lego Land is expected to open in the first half of 2017. It will attract more than 2 million tourists annually, secure KRW 4.4 billion of local tax revenue and create 9,800 new jobs.
