Through Gangwon Contents Korea Lab program led by Gangwon Information & Culture Promotion Agency, the province achieved the result of educating a total of 7,400 people including the creators and founders of this year. Under the sponsorship from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Creative Content Agency, and Chuncheon City, the program launched in Chuncheon City in June for the development of the creative content industry.

The lab aims to provide customized solutions from business idea to commercialization for each creator, which could lay the foundations for facilitating a content industry ecosystem.

The lab said they’ve provided 25 biz-support/ education programs, helping 208 creators, 25 businesses and 7,293 graduates by offering open spaces to reside in this year.

‘Z-star School’, one of the programs, which consist of eight separate curriculum, trained 5,487 students. Besides, creator discovering program ‘Con-Creator’ identified and trained 20 candidates, who successfully opened their YouTube channels. The Lab also provided mentoring service to form network between mentors and mentees.
