According to Yonhap News,

Gangwon A+ Center, a venture startup incubator dedicated particularly to helping early stage farming companies or agricultural startup firms scale up in Gangwon Province, is looking for potential candidates- locally based entrepreneurs who wish to be financed to start business or companies in the initial stage of its operation- to join its biz-support programs. Possible candidates to apply are required to be those who start business in ICT, bio-health, food and beverage, automation, robotic technology widely applicable to agro-industry or a young company which launched its operation less than five years.

By adding a dozen more new selectees, the provincial authorities are set to provide services to 35 candidates this year in total.

Aside from a package of support programs such as investment, marketing and sales, mentorship and coaching services, tech transfer and assessment to track progress in business, these selectees will be financed up to KRW 40 million by the center.

Anyone interested in the program can submit the application forms online or via mail until Mar 4. After the screening process for candidate selection, the finalists will be announced in early April.

The head of Gangwon A+ Center said “A wide array of support programs ranging from information sharing to mentorship will be provided. With a full financial aid package, giving up to KRW10 million even to would-be entrepreneurs, we’re waiting for young and creative innovators to run business.”
