According to Yonhap News,

Gangwon Province announced the launch of its biz-support project on Feb 21, investing nearly KRW 36.2 billion in four main tasks which entail 14 sub-projects, designed mainly to lay foundations for sustainable farming and green practices.

The provincial authorities will inject KRW 4.2 billion in scaling up farming infrastructure for organic, eco-friendly production, KRW 26.3 billion in keeping local farmland management stable, KRW 3.9 billion in developing farming environment and infrastructure to shape better processing and distribution channels and KRW 2.1 billion in marketing and branding.

In addition to the support initiatives, the province will provide a pack of organic, fresh agro-products, equivalent, in value, to KRW 480,000 for the pregnant or local residents who recently gave birth to babies.

Also, the local government will further speed up and enhance administrative process by integrating crop-yielding-food processing facilities and distribution centers.
