According to Yonhap News,
Mando Corp. and Halla University signed an MOU on Feb 24 over the industry-affiliated university sponsorship program to form an AI Mobility Accelerator Program (aMAP), a smart mobility education platform, in the forthcoming age of the fourth industrial revolution.
The partnership agreement appears to help Halla university lay strong foundations to become a technology hub, keeping the smart mobility business competent. Mando Corp. is more likely to be a major contributor to fostering young talents specializing in software engineering and to pool a wealth of human resource to be mobilized in self-driving technology.
aMAP consists of three separate curriculum by each stage: ABCD(AI, Big Data, Coding, Design) program, a startup-support program and an on-the-job training. ABCD program was designed particularly to help young students learn the basics of the courses.
Mando and Halla university have already opened an R&D center, studying smart mobility in 2019. Under the shared goals to ramp up the collaborative partnership, both reached a consensus to work together to attract a local education institute dedicated to smart technology.
