According to Yonhap News,

Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do signed MOU with Lintech to create R&D cluster for space medicine and advanced regenerative medicine through space zero-gravity research on October 14.

According to the MOU, Jeongseon-gun plans to push for space-related research and experiment, new drug development, new therapeutic technology development, experiential education, and industrial tourism content development in conjunction with universities, research institutes, and companies home and abroad.

Lintech is conducting joint research with Havard University of the USA to develop brain disease diagnosis and treatment technology development through space zero-gravity technology.

Depending on the achievements from research, Jeongseon-gun plans to push for establishment of a space medicine/regenerative medicine convergence research center and attraction of bio-related companies.
