According to Yonhap News,
Demonstration Complex of Hydrogen Energy Town House will be built by December 2023 in Gyo-dong, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do.
With putting in about KRW 29.9 billion of total project cost, 9 demonstration houses, 1 management building, and 1 PR building will be built.
It is a demonstration complex to lay the institutional foundation, develop business models, develop and demonstrate localization technologies and secure acceptability, safety, and economics required to spread hydrogen energy in the residential sector.
The project will be participated by Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do, Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), LH, Doosan, KEPCO E&C, Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology, and Korea Gas Corporation.
