Hold '2022 Gangwon Startup Festival' at Wonju Dancing Performance Hall on June 10-11
Exhibit products and services of 110 companies in various fields encompassing ICT-based new technologies, medical and bio, creative, and F&B

Gangwon Center for Creative Economy Innovation Center (CCEI) announced that it would hold '2022 Gangwon Startup Festival' at Wonju Dancing Performance Hall for two days from June 10-11.

This Festival is to be held under the slogan of 'Wake up, Start up' showing the bright future of startups in Gangwon-do who went through prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Dividing into 4 areas including ▲ creative and idea products (Creative Zone) ▲ F&B(Local Zone) ▲ ICT-based new technologies (Innovation Zone) ▲medical and bio (Healthy Zone), showcasing excellent products and services by about 110 startups in the province.

Besides exhibition, there will be public IR in which digital healthcare/workcation (tourism) companies participate, procurement purchase consultation connecting products of startups and public organizations, live commerce for general consumers, and patent and legal consultations, providing participating companies with various opportunities for growth.

Programs for visitors are prepared: Plea market where products by creators of handcrafted items in the province; the youth live concert; mock investment experience; lucky draw; and various participation events and foods.

In particular, 'Gangwon Maker Faire' will be held together. It is organized by ‘One Space Gangwon’, an association of 10 organizations operating maker spaces in Gangwon area, with a plan to operate various experience programs such as wood carving, assembling the Korean peninsular, exploring human body model, and making pet name tag.
