(JEJU=NEWSIS) The nominal gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province reached KRW 13.9 trillion in 2015, a 5.3 percent increase year-on-year.

The real GRPD that shows the economic growth rate increased by 4.8 percent, ranking 3rd in the nation following Gyeonggi Province (5.6%) and South Chungcheong Province (4.9%).

The GRDP per capita and personal income reached KRW 23.91 million and KRW 15.67 million, respectively, each showing 3.2 percent and 1.5 percent increase than that of 2014.

Private consumption accounted for 57.8 percent of the total spending. The construction investment increased from 26.3 percent in 2014 to 26.6 percent in 2015 while the government consumption decreased from 25.1 percent in 2014 to 24.9 percent in 2015.
