JEJU-DO < invest Korea

(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced January 19 that it will invest KRW 108 billion in the agriculture, livestock and food industry to proactively respond to opening up the market.

To promote the 2nd-year core task of tangerine innovation including producing tangerines and enhancing market negotiation capabilities through organization of distribution, Jeju will invest KRW 27 billion in systematizing the production and unifying and modernizing the distribution.

It will also invest KRW 9.6 billion in facilitating the sixth industry of processed food and KRW 20.6 billion in developing the island into a hub of horse industry.
