(JEJU=NEWSIS) The Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education announced February 18 that it has officially approved the plan to establish Saint Johnsbury Academy Jeju, the fourth international school to be built in the Jeju Global Education City.

Haewul Co., Ltd., the corporation to operate Saint Johnsbury Academy Jeju, requested the Office of Education on October 27, 2015 to approve the plan to build an international school.

Saint Johnsbury Academy Jeju, which will offer kindergarten, elementary and secondary education, will have 68 classes and 1,254 students. The school is to open in September, 2017.
