(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Province announced March 29 that it will sign a business agreement with 28 regional public institutions and companies on March 30 to promote public-private cooperation to practice eco-friendly lifestyle.

Jeju aims to emerge as the global environment capital, become a carbon-free island and lead an eco-friendly lifestyle by working together with private and public institutions.

Each public institution and company will be given tasks to achieve the 10 key tasks for building an eco-friendly lifestyle.

The province will conduct working-level meetings with the regional public institutions and companies to review the tasks that they have worked on.
