(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that a trade mission to Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are working on deals to export Jeju-produced goods.

The trade mission, jointly organized with the Jeju Export Support Center of the Small and Medium Business Administration and the Small & Medium Business Corporation Jeju Branch, have been held 217 rounds of meetings and marketing activities and is currently discussing export contracts worth USD 2.83 million for products including drinks, snacks, cosmetics, and accessories.

During the marketing campaign, cosmetics, character-themed merchandise, and accessories have received particular attention.

Through the export promotion efforts, nine participating companies have won a number of contracts and expanded their business opportunities overseas.
