Jeju Business Center Gets Approval from Government

According to Yonhap News,

(JEJU=Yonhap News) Establishment of the Jeju Business Center is well on the way as budget for the project was approved by the National Assembly. The facility will house travel agencies and companies doing businesses in the field of MICE, a term refers to meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.

Construction of the center was started in 2014 and will finish by July next year. A total of KRW 10 billion will be injected, allocated by the central government, provincial government, and private fund.

The center will be sited on the land of 3,185.8 square meters near the headquarters of the Jeju Free International City Development Center in Yeongpyeong-dong, Jeju City.

The Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Tourism Association will move into the center. Travel agencies and MICE companies can apply to be a tenant as well.
