Jeju University Hosts Blockchain and AI Workshop May 17 - 19

According to Yonhap News,

(JEJU=Yonhap News) Jeju University will host a workshop on blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) in the onset of the 4th Industrial Revolution from May 17 to 19 at the Ara Convention Hall.

The event will introduce the latest technologies surrounding blockchain and AI as well as to promote each branch of the Korean Institute of Communications and Information Services.

In order to foster value-adding blockchain research based on trust among the network industry experts, academia as well as the region's experts, the event will cover discussion topics such as "Blockchain architecture and application cases," "Security Issues and blockchain," "Jeju regional future development strategy based on blockchain technology,"

The event will also serve as a place for in-depth learning about AI, including an outline of deep-learning, CNN (convolutional neural network), RNN (recurrent neural network), GAN (generic alliance neural network), R & D trends in machine learning based communication technology, the aging population's openness to AI and customized UX.
