Jeju Hosts International Symposium on Animal Food Culture and Ethics

According to Yonhap News,

(JEJU=Yonhap News) From May 24 to 26, the Korean Society for Food Science of Animal Resources and the National Institute of Animal Science will host the 50th KoSFA International Symposium and Annual Meeting at the Ara Convention Hall in Jeju National University.

The event will bring together domestic and foreign researchers, industry representatives and graduate students to share their ideas on animal food culture and ethics.

At the opening ceremony and forums, there will be a memorial lecture on the "Strategies and Future Direction of Livestock in Jeju," as well as an academic presentation by Professor Lee Geun-taek, Professor David Hopkins and Professor Thomas Wood.

A total of 7 sessions will take place during the 3-day conference, with presentations by 17 researchers from 10 countries.
