Jeju province said that the delegation of Japan's statistics bureau came to Jeju provincial government office to discuss cooperative measures on March 15, during its visit to Korea to attend the bilateral meeting between KOSTAT and Statistics Bureau of Japan.

The Japanese delegation was briefed on composing and utilizing of national and local statistics, and the status of local statistics and shared information to enhance bilateral cooperation on the statistics matter.

Bilateral meeting between KOSTAT and Statistics Bureau of Japan has been held every year since 1982. This year's theme included business activity survey and micro-data, among others.
