Jeju to step up support for six local companies to enter the Chinese market

According to Yonhap News,

(JEJU=Yonhap News) Jeju Self-Governing Province is set to step up promotional and marketing activities to support cosmetics and food & beverage (F&B) products made of Jeju's natural resources enter Chinese market.

On June 13, Jeju province announced that it will intensify online and offline marketing activities for 6 companies in cosmetics and F&B sectors to nurture them into "Star Products" capable of entering the Chinese market.

Jeju Research Institute (JRI) selected 3 cosmetics companies and 3 F&B companies as the candidates for Jeju Star Products in its policy research project in April.

The province is to support marketing expenses up to KRW 40 million for each company, and promote Jeju brands and products in cooperation with Jeju Tourism Organization.
