On June 16, Jeju province announced that it invites officials from cities of sisters and friendly relationship to discuss how to improve exchanges.
Jeju province holds "2019 International Exchange Week" on June 17-21.
During the week, 34 officials from 15 cities of sisters and friendly relationship in 5 countries will be visiting Jeju.
The island is to have sessions presenting policies of the participating cities discussing working-level measures to stimulate exchanges, and a roundtable with those in charge of international cooperation in relevant organizations.
At the presentation of cities' policies, they will share exemplary policies, while tailored discussion is planned during working-level meeting based on prior survey on the areas and regions each city wants to raise exchanges.
They will also introduce natural environment and unique culture of Jeju through a nature and culture exploration program.
The participating cities set up booths at Convention Hall of Masion Glad Jeju and Lobby of Jeju provincial government building to promote their cities to Jeju citizens.
