1,522 employed through an employment support project by Jeju provincial government

On July 16, Jeju province announced that 1,544 people got a job through an employment success package project, a customized employment support service for job-seekers, in the past three years.

Of those employed, 855 are from low-income earners, 659 are the unemployed youth and 100% or less median income earners.

To relieve financial burden of these job seekers, the province supports up to KRW 7.35 million per person for various job training and allowance.

The project is designed to support employement of Jeju residents, including one-on-one job consulting, and employement planning tailored to personal conditions.
