(JEJU=Yonhap News) "Jeju Farming+@jeju Fair", an international fair to stimulate 6th industry of Jeju will be held in October.

On August 26, Jeju 6th Industry International Exhibition Committee announced that it will held the exhibition to promote the value of Jeju 6th industry and pioneer new sales channels on October 12-14 at Jeju Convention Center.

It will be participated by domestic companies from Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, Chungbuk, Incheon, Gangwon, and Gyeonggi provinces as well as about 90 companies from 9 countries.

As a main event, exhibition of display and experience and promotion booth by 6th industry companies and farmers are planned.

Also, other events include consultation sessions with buyers, success story presentation by Italy's village companies, and strategy conference by domestic 6th industry enterprises and village companies.

6th Industry refers to the integration of 1st industry (agriculture and fishery) and 2nd industry (manufacturing, processing) and 3rd industry (experience, tour and services). In other words, it is the industry that manufacture and process the tangible and non-tangible resources of rural areas and combine with experience and tour. The exhibition is organized by Jeju 6th Industry Support Center, Jeju International Convention Center, Jeju Sori and Jeju CBS.
