Jeju CCEI to take registration from startups specialized in blockchain & big data

On September 20, the Jeju Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (CCEI) said that it is recruiting startups specialized in blockchain and big data in an effort to discover and foster outstanding startups.

The enterprises which own blockchain technologies or conceiving ideas of convergence services using blockchain can apply for blockchain sector, while enterprises wanting to resolve social problems by using big data can apply for big data sector.

The selected startups can attract investment through "seed money investment project" and participate in the occasions sharing industry trends and policies.

Those eligible for application are: pre-entrepreneurs who are set to move in "Innovation Startup W360", created this year; or enterprises less than 7 years and willing to move head office or branch to Jeju in three months.

The period to move in is 12 months from November this year to October 2020. They can use offices, collaborative places, meeting rooms, etc. at W360.

The application form can be submitted through Jeju Innovation Hub, with online submission deadline set at September 25, 6 p.m.
