According to Yonhap News,

A two-day big sales event to promote Jeju flatfish will be held starting from Dec 14 at the ‘Let’s Run Park Jeju’.

Gourmets can taste very exceptional, locally grown flatfish, along with a variety of foods that everyone loves at the festival, cohosted by Korean Horse Affairs Association’s Let’s Run Park and Jeju-Suhyup (National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives).

Attendee experiences are ready to excite the visitors to come such as a fish-catching festival, where small kids can join to catch fish with their bare hands, or ‘Let’s play with aquarium fish’ program.

The head of Let’s Run Park Jeju says “A sudden plunge in flatfish price has recently raised concern among fish farmers in Jeju. In hopes of helping local fishery business, both Jeju-Suhyup & Korean Horse Affairs Association set a plan to open the event. By making full use of the infrastructure we have, I’d like to run more exciting community events everyone can enjoy and benefit from.”
