Jeju Island, ready for the grand opening of “2020 Jeju Food Show” on Jul 16

2020 Jeju Food Show, a large-scale food festival held for the first time in the Island, is set to open from Jul 16 to Jul 19 in Seoguipo city’s Jeju International Convention Center (ICC). The three-day promotional event designed to let visitors learn more of how good the fresh, organic food produced in the Island is showcase the latest agricultural trends and locally grown and processed premium products with five to six separate pavilions under each theme of ‘general foods’, ‘agro-livestock products’, ‘dietary supplement and organic products’, ‘products based upon the 6th industry’ and ‘the newest market trends’. Visitors can enjoy what’s inside in one spot at the venue.

There will be a large marketplace to taste and get flagship products such as Jeju mandarin orange, carrots and pork, alongside unique processed foods such as mandarin orange flavored milk tea, Hijikia snacks, pickled abalone and organically made fruit jam native to Jeju Island. Apart from the experience zone, attendees can also look around a large exhibit space where a plenty of freshly grown Jeju products are marketed.

There will be a course of biz-meeting sessions to connect sellers and buyers at the presence of special guests: merchandisers specializing in B2B marketing and Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (abbr. aT) in a bid to help businesses grappling with ways to stave off find larger sales channels.

Visitors who sing up via official website, www.jejufoodshow.com prior to the show are able to join numerous attendee experiences at the fair in the order of application. Admission fee is KRW 10,000 per person but those who’ve already completed pre-registration process are allowed to get in free of charge.
