According to Yonhap News,

Jeju Island introduced the recently announced part of government-led initiatives, Digital New Deal, online on Nov 9 at the Balanced Development Exposition 2020.

The provincial government announced that Jeju Island unveiled a digital showroom, a type of PR space to let people learn more on green growth initiatives that the Island has long pushed for under the shared goal of “ICT tech-based carbon free island, Jeju, in the upcoming era of the fourth industrial revolution” Audiences were able to look around the authority-led EV charging services, regulation-free economic zones and UAV testing grounds at the virtual showroom.

The expo was hosted mainly by the Ministry of Technology, Industry and Energy, along with other sponsors of 17 local municipalities. The event was held online to prevent the spread of the coronavirus until Nov 12.
