According to Newsis,
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province said on Dec 10 that the local government is now establishing an education center, named ‘Mirae Chaeum Center’, where students are able to experience and learn technical skills to improve digital literacy, a capacity to gain agility to quickly respond to the forthcoming age of Industry 4.0. Aiming to form spaces where students can do heads-down work and experience software development, training professional teachers and providing basic-level curriculum for primary school students, the construction project was officially authorized by the ICT ministry in June this year.
Under such goals, the authority is scheduled to open the school in early January next year, once the center is fully equipped with necessary facilities.
