According to Yonhap News,

Jeju-do and Jeju Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) are set to go out for overseas marketing activities to turn Jeju into a new destination for MICE, in time for the post-COVID-19 era.

MICE - acronym for Meeting, Incentives, Convention, Exhibition - has been recognized as a high-value added industry, with great impact on local economy revitalization and job creation.

Jeju CVB is to participate in 'IT&CM China 2021', an online exhibition held for 3 days starting from June 22, to carry out untact overseas marketing activities.

This exhibition is held every year in Shanghai, China. It is the largest MICE exhibition in China, participated by about 800 people including buyers, exhibitors, experts from the media and industry.

Jeju CVB is planned to promote Jeju island to buyers from China and Asian Pacific region, and run business meetings.

Jeje CVB is to continue its overseas marketing activities by participating in Korea MICE exhibition (June 30-July 2), IT&CM (September 28-30), and ITB Asia (November 1-5).
