Jeju Province and Jeju Convention Bureau announced on December 1 that they would hold the 'Jeju Green MICE City Declaration Ceremony' at the Halla Convention Center of Jeju Halla University on December 2.

With an increasing emphasis on the importance of green MICE at home and abroad, the event was designed to make commitment to creating sustainable MICE environment in Jeju and holding eco-friendly MICE.

Starting with report on the progress of Jeju's Green MICE project, the event consists of Green MICE city declaration and sustainable MICE policy discussion. The declaration ceremony is to be held in the order of announcement of the declaration, signing on the declaration, and tree-planting performance.

In the policy discussion session to be held in the afternoon of the event day, representatives of MICE companies and working-level staff will be having discussion on the subject of 'sustainable direction for the Jeju MICE industry'.

The declaration ceremony will be held online and offline simultaneously, and live-broadcast on Jeju Convention Bureau's official Youtube channel.
