Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced on March 2 that it will push for the MICE industry revitalization plan to deal with the situation of life ‘with COVID-19’.

To this end, the province set 3 strategies, with the policy goal of ‘building a customized infrastructure to strengthen the MICE industry,’ which are: ▲flexible marketing ▲creating a sustainable MICE environment ▲reinforcing the regional competitiveness of the MICE industry.

In addition, the province prepared 13 implementation tasks and plans to invest a total of KRW 17.2 billion.

Flexible marketing includes improvement of the MICE support system, support for quarantine in response to COVID-19, strengthening global networking and expanding cooperation in attraction activities.
