The 9th International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE), which claims to be the world's only pure electric vehicle expo, will open on May 3.

The IEVE Secretariat announced on April 5 that the 9th IEVE will be held for 4 days from May 3 to 6 at the Jeju International Convention Center and Jungmun Tourist Complex in Seogwipo-si.

The Expo will provide on-site and virtual exhibitions, B2B business meetings, PR shows, conferences on various topics, test drives, and experience events, among others.

In particular, it will hold the 'Korea-EU EV Leaders Roundtable' to seek ways for cooperation between the EU and Korea, a global automobile powerhouse on May 2. It will be attended by ambassadors of 27 EU member states to Korea, and officials from governments, local governments, and corporates, who will share trends and visions for the electric vehicle industry in Korea and EU.

In addition, the 'Korea-China EV Forum' and the 'Korea-ASEAN EV Forum' will also be held, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Korea and China this year, to expand cooperation EV industry issues between Korea and countries in the region.

The '1st International Student Autonomous Driving Contest' and 'The 2nd Korean Peace Road EV Campaign' will also be held, where major universities in the e-mobility field are scheduled to participate.

The Organizing Committee receives pre-registration for entry to exhibition and participation in the conferences through the Expo's official website (www.ievexpo.org) by May 2, the day before the opening.
