Jeju to comprehensively promote its tourism, culture and products in Singapore

On October 16, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province said that it will hold an "Invitation to JEJU, KOREA" that comprehensively showcases Jeju's tourism, culture, and export products.

Hosted by Jeju provincial government and organized by the Jeju Business Agency, the "Invitation to JEJU, KOREA" event will be held at Suntech Tower in central Singapore for three days on October 17-19.

The event was planned to maximize synergy effect by integrating overseas exhibitions, export consultations, and tourism exhibitions that were previously held seperately.

Jeju-do explained that it will focuse on showing the value of the Jeju brand comprehensively by connecting Jeju's cultural and tourism assets with export companies.

Jeju Governor plans to carry out various economic cooperation activities there to produce practical business results for Jeju companies.

The export consultations aimed at expanding overseas expansion of Jeju companies will be held on October 17-18, with PR booth promoting Jeju's tourism and culture at the event venue.

There will be a Jeju video culture briefing session and MICE industry presentation for local officials, and a Jeju experience program in connection with Singapore kids experience company.

During the event, the Jeju Dance Company will perform "Dance of Forest, Wind, and Sea", originated from the Jeju local myths, twice a day to promote Jeju's unique culture and history.

An official from the Jeju provincial government said, "with the event as an opportunity, we will carry out customized support policy in consideration of Jeju companies' overseas expansion and their products."
