According to Yonhap News,
Cheju National University said on January 20th that it signed agreements with three Chinese universities to select up to five exchange students of each university starting from this September.
Exchange students will study in Korea for a year, and only those who completed two ~ four semesters at universities are qualified to apply for the exchange student program.
The University also signed agreements for academic exchange with two Chinese universities to exchange professors and researchers, jointly hold academic seminars, and exchange academic materials and thesis.
An official of Cheju National University said “Chancellor Heo Hyang-jin visited those three Chinese universities from January 9th to 14th to sign the agreements,,” and added “he also had consultations on attracting trainees for the Korean language course during his visit to an affiliated organization of China’s Ministry of Education.”
