Jeju branch of the Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) announced yesterday that it will sign a memorandum of understanding this year with the Fukuoka Airport Building Co., Ltd, which operates the Fukuoka Airport.
Jeju branch of KAC visited the Fukuoka Airport and Naha Airport to meet with representatives and discuss mutual cooperative measures.
When the MOU is signed, the parties will share their knowledge and experience with flight marketing, airport facilitation and operation.
Jeju branch noted the MOU was promoted in the background that most international flights at the Jeju Airport fly to China, and demand for flights to Japan are decreasing due to a low yen.
The Fukuoka Airport is the fourth largest airport in Japan in terms of transportation. It has 25 domestic flights and 18 international flights.
