JDC Stipulates UNGC Ten Principles

Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) announced Monday that it will stipulated the ten principles of the United Nation’s Global Compact (UNGC) in its ethics charter to reinforce its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

JDC jointed the UNGC last August for the first time as a company in Jeju, and shared its CSR efforts and performances over last year by submitting communication of progress (COP) early this month.

Chairman of the Development Center Borad Kim Han-wook noted that the ten principles will serve as a basic framework for all corporate activities of JDC to become a leading company in terms of ethical management.

Thorough a statement supporting JDC’s efforts to spread ethical management, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon requested JDC’s cooperation and contribution based on understanding of global values of ethical management.
