Jeju will hold an export consultation session with foreign buyers next week to develop export measures for Jeju products.
The session will be hosted by the city and organized by the Jeju Technopark and Jeju branch of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). It is expected to draw 39 buyers from 38 companies in six countries, including China, Japan and Russia, and 50 Jeju companies. They will hold consultations on agricultural, fishing, food and cosmetic products.
Buyers invited to the session vary from global corporates and to middle-sized companies and small distributors.
To make consultations more effective, most buyers identified from foreign exhibitions or trade missions were invited.
Jeju will also invite advisors to share information on foreign markets and trade trends with companies and to receive advises for next year’s overseas marketing.
To penetrate the Chinese domestic market, the city will hold another export consultation session with Chinese distributors in Beijing this week.
