(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Special Self-Governing Province said on May 1 that it held an investment fair on April 29-30, inviting 11 enterprises in capital area that are interested in relocating their headquarters to the island.

In the fair, the companies had a chance to know possible support from Jeju and to visit enterprises that successfully relocated their headquarters to Jeju. The investment fair was designed to promote investment in Jeju from possible investors. All the companies that took part in the fair showed great interest in securing talent and conditions of a location in the island and ask Jeju to set up a 2nd Science & Technology Complex and an industrial complex for green growth.

Cosmetics companies, in particular, showed great interest in seawater from lava. Information and technology companies focused largely on the success of Daum Communication and the happiness of its staff.

The province plans to expand school-work links to secure talented people whom the participating companies are looking for and complete ongoing construction work for industrial complexes.
