(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that it has submitted a business plan to establish an international hospital in Seogwipo to the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The International Greenland Hospital is promoted by Greenland Healthcare co., Ltd. and will handle plastic surgery, dermatology, internal medicine and family medicine.
According to the province, the project to build an international hospital will coincide with the project to build a healthcare town and contribute to revitalizing the medical tourism by attracting domestic medical institutions.
The International Greenland Hospital will be built on 17,678 ㎡ of land with KRW 77.8 billion of investment. It will be a three-story building with one underground floor.
